These one-day workshops on Sunday, February 25, 2018 will bring together scientists to share scientific advances on specific fungal species or topics. Following the workshops, to be held at the main campus, Technion, Haifa, participants can join the welcome reception of the main meeting.
The following workshops are open for registration. Opening of a workshop may be contingent on a sufficient number of registrants. The deadline for workshop registration is Tuesday, JANUARY 30, 2018.
To join a workshop: Choose your workshop and proceed to the registration page to register.
The registration fee for each workshop is $60 except for workshop SA3 Fungal endophytes, which is $30. For all workshops, the fee includes coffee breaks and a light lunch. See the campus map to locate your lecture hall.
If you wish to give a talk at the workshop or show a poster (poster presentations are available at Asperfest only) please contact the organizers of your workshop with a provisional title and short abstract. If you have already contributed an abstract to ECFG14, note that you still need to contact your workshop organizers.
The FungiDB workshop will be held on Sunday February 25 from 14:00-18:00. If you are registered to another workshop and wish to take the afternoon to participate in FungiDB, you can do so at no additional cost (this is a hands-on computer workshop, so if you decide take this option, kindly inform us as soon as possible but no later than January 30, at email@example.com). Conversely, if you have registered to FungiDB and wish to participate in another workshop in the morning, you can do so at no additional cost. Please be aware that the number of participants in the FungiDB workshop is limited; registrants to FungiDB and those joining in parallel to another workshop will be notified as soon as possible on whether there is still an available spot.
Transportation: On Sunday morning buses from the Conference hotels will stop at the Technion bus stops on David Rose Avenue (Ring Road, in blue on the map). At the end of the workshop, proceed (about 10 min walk) to the ECFG welcome reception at Churchill Auditorium (E/4-5 on the map).
